A wintertime theme was my idea of the perfect wedding theme, so we got married in January. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. Our altar had replica snowflakes next to the unity candle and other candles, which all had a wintry look to them. It was a magical wedding.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. As for our place card holders I found the most lovely snowball ornament card holders for our reception. They double as both card holders and ornaments, and they do a charming job at both. As wedding thank you gifts for our friends and family we decided on these lovely toasting flutes and little novelty champagne bottles favors with bubbles. As thank yous, champagne toasting glasses are hard to beat. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. Small snowflakes in shades of blue and white were on the handles. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.
For the special personalized toasting flute, we had beautifully designed winter wedding themed flutes with handles that were exactly like the cake server set and guestbook. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. We got our flower girl a necklace and we we let her keep the small crown she wore in the ceremony, and she was pleased with both of them. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My new husband decided to handle buying the groomsmen’s gifts. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. I found supplies for both the wedding and the honeymoon online. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. A wedding built around snow and ice can be wonderful, and there are plenty of items you can obtain to make it happen. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. The colors at our wedding centered around silver and an icy blue. The unity candle was surrounded by other candles with a winter style to them, along with simulated snowflakes on the altar. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
All of the reception tables had red table runners and white tablecloths. In the middle of each reception table sat freshly cut white orchids inside of a glimmering silver vase, and it all went with the wintery ambiance wonderfully. I ran across some snowball ornament place card holders, and I used those for the reception. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. If you’re looking for a wonderful way to say thank you, champagne toasting glasses do the trick. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. It was an exact match for the sign-in book and pen set I had bought.

The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. The ring boy thought the ring bearer tee shirt and stainless steel yoyo was pretty cool. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. The prices that we found on the Internet were so good that we saved a significant amount of money by looking there. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
